The Norwich Historic Churches Trust (charity number: 266686) was formed in 1973 to care for medieval churches in Norwich which are no longer used for religious worship.
We currently look after 18 buildings and work hard to find new uses for them in the community – from theatres to arts venues, charities and small businesses.
Norwich has the greatest concentration of medieval churches in any city north of the Alps and they are a vital part of the city’s built and cultural heritage.
Like many medieval buildings, continuous care is needed to preserve them for current and future generations. Donations are vital to boost our income and to help us carry out any number of conservation projects needed every year.
