CURRENT VACANCIES

Current Job Vacancies

Operations Manager

Salary: 0.8 (four days) pro-rata £27,500p.a. (£22,000).

This is a new post within a small staff team, which incorporates into the role of our long-standing Executive Officer (who is leaving us at the end of August) a range of development responsibilities in line with NHCT’s expanding range of volunteer-led education and community-based activities.

We believe this will be a challenging role, but one which could be particularly rewarding for a person with the right ambitions, interests and skill set. It calls for someone who is a strong communicator, a quick learner, intuitively adaptable; and who is able to anticipate the coming needs of the organisation at a difficult time for heritage generally, and play a significant part in securing funds and other resources to move it forward.

If this sounds like you then we would welcome your application in the form of a letter and CV, along with contact details for two relevant professional or educational referees.

Please download the following forms:

  • The Job Description and Person Specification for the post of Operations Manager.

  • A booklet about the history of NHCT and the restoration and improvement work it has carried out on its 18 properties.

  • A timetable for the recruitment process.

Please send applications to Stella Eglington:

or by mail to:

The Norwich Historic Churches Trust Ltd, St Martin at Palace, 15 St Martin at Palace Plain, Norwich, NR3 1RW

Deadline for applications: 2pm June 27th

In addition I would recommend that you visit the website for our city-wide churches festival in 2017, Flintspiration.

If you would like to visit our premises at St Martin-at-Palace Plane, and take the opportunity to put any further questions you might have about the job or the organisation generally, Mark Wilson, our Buildings and Conservation Manager and myself will be available for an ‘open house’ on Friday June 22nd. If this might be helpful to you, please book in for either the 1pm or the 3pm slot on the day with Stella Eglinton on 611530 or stella.eglinton@norwich-churches.org. Stella will also be able to help with any queries about the process and timetable.
