Join us for a little ‘bite-sized’ culture, organised by the Friends of Norwich Historic Churches Trust. Each talk starts at 12.30pm and should last around 45 minutes.

Conservation Tour – Mark Wilson
St John de Sepulchre, Ber Street

St John de Sepulchre will soon be the site of a major restoration project funded by Historic England. NHCT Conservation Manager, Mark Wilson, will give a tour of the building focussing on the areas of concern and explaining the work to repair them.

Lecture – Sophie Cabot
St Martin at Palace, NR3 1RW

Heritage professional and chair of Hungate Medieval Art, Sophie Cabot, will give an overview of the historical and archaological evidence that can be used to tell some of the stories of the medieval Jewish community which thrived in Norwich from the 11th – 13th century.

Friends of NHCT committee member, Margaret Gooch, will give a special festive talk exploring the history of Christmas festivities. With complimentary mulled wine and mince pies.
