PARKET PREACHMENT

2 June | 3pm | FREE

Archbishop Matthew (‘Nosey’) Parker (d.1575) specified in his will that a sermon is to be preached on the Sunday after Ascension at St Clement-at-Fyebridge, where his parents are buried. After some years at St George Colegate, the afternoon service is returning to St Clement this year. It will be a Choral Evensong ending with tea and buns and a chance to explore this historic church.
